The Game Project, for a lack of a better name, is exactly that, a simple project to create and learn gaming design techniques based on industry standard tools.

The project covers world design, UI design, effects, combat systems, game code development, animation, character design, storyboarding, and more. And hey, eventually we’ll name the v1 prototype something.


Here is a list of some of the the tech being used: Unity3D, C#/Javascript, Cg/HLSL, Blender/Gimp, Adobe CS5 (Photoshop/Illustrator/Flash/Premier), Garageband, Apple Macintosh and Windows.


We created a project video to demo the techniques and some early world building samples:
